Do I need a new website to start?
No. On Essential we manage what you already have. If the existing site is costing you conversions we will say so and show you where — but a rebuild is a decision you make with the numbers in front of you, not a condition of working with us.
Who owns the website?
You do, from the first commit. The domain stays in your name, the code sits in a repository you can take anywhere, and there is no licence to keep paying. If you leave, you leave with the site.
What counts as a change?
Copy, images, prices, new pages, new sections, fixes — anything a normal month of a growing business needs. A second website, an e-commerce build or a custom booking system is its own project, quoted before it starts.
